Party Theme
We would like to pitch to you our potential music video ideas for the song "Ain't No Party" by Orson. Here are a few of the ideas we have come up with so far...
-Ironic start to the music video, small group of people being depicted as uncool/ geeky etc.
-Starts as a screen recording of Facebook
-Group of around three people playing board games drinking fizzy drinks etc
-When the song begins building up, more and more people start turning up
-Various scene changes involved around the house
-Use of various camera angles and shot types
-Mise-en-scene changes as the song builds up - more vibrant colours and higher pace of editing
We watched two videos that we gained inspiration from; a Katy Perry video and an Asher Roth video.
Target Audience
Our target audience is young adults and teens as they can relate to the house party theme and also, that is who the pop/rock genre is aimed at. Their expectations will be to see lots of cheerful and happy people having a good time - which is associated with the pop/rock genre. We are hoping to meet these expectations as this theme also matches the high pace and exciting tone of the song.
