Analysis of Digipak - "The Music"

hghfWe analysed the digipak from the band "The Music". The genre that this band plays in is indie rock. Here are the photos from the digipak....

The outside covers are just coloured patterns in the shape of a CD. This tells us no information about the identity of the band or genre etc. The inside cover follows the same pattern; it is merely just colours. However, there is a little booklet inside the packaging which contains details of the track list, the credits and also the CD itself. In the booklet, there are photos of the band. There are some of them performing and some of just the band in normal scenarios, which is stereotypical of the genre they are in. They do not focus on selling their image like other artists such as Rihanna, who's image was on every single panel of her digipak.

The digipak we analysed is from the same genre as what we are currently creating, and so we will try and take inspiration from this.
